Three Things YOU can do to help!

  1. Ask your parents to use safer pest control at home and in the garden.

  3. Eat more plant-based foods. Doctors agree it's healthier to eat foods that are lower on the food chain. Plant-based foods in our diet like: fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains, beans, legumes, seeds and nuts can provide all the protein, calcium, fiber, vitamins and minerals that are needed for good health. By eating lower on the food chain, we are safer from the effects of biological magnification. Here are some fun websites where you can learn more about plant-based foods and easy recipes:
